Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is working on many community events and activities for the months ahead.
Their goal is to make sure Fairfield is a happy community. A happy community comes from creating a good quality of life for its citizens.
They are providing their members some sponsorship opportunities for upcoming events. If you see something on the list you would like to be a part of, please contact the chamber office.
All events are offered FREE to the public.
–Lemonade Day – Youth Entrepreneurship Educational Program. A pilot program was started this year with 46 youth from FIS. The children are our future; if we can ignite their entrepreneur spirit, we can transform their lives. The program cost is $3,000 (may be split)
–Business After Hours – (First Thursday of each month) – Host provides food, drinks and door prize.
–Tea with Miss Texas, May 13th – Cookie & Drink Sponsor $250, Gift Sponsor for girls & Miss Texas $250
–Teacher Orientation, August – They will need goodie bags and donations such as pens, pencils, markers, koozies etc. from local businesses to fill the bags (Total of 30 bags)
–Teacher Breakfast Sponsor, August – $800 Helps with providing food, drinks & door prizes on the teacher first day back to school (May be split between 2 or 3 businesses)
–Show of Wheels, Sept 8th – T-Shirt sponsor $500, People’s Choice and Best of Show $500, other specialty trophies $250 (Poker run and swap meet are planned for this year). They will need bags for this event, as well as goodies from local businesses, to fill the bags. (Total of 150 bags)
–Santa in September, Sept. 29th – Food and drink sponsor $500, activity sponsor $250
–Boo on the Square, Oct. 31st – Food, drink & activity sponsor $300
The Chamber has many fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for community events.
–May 18th Bake Potato Fundraiser ($10 a plate)
–June 2nd – Buckles & Boots, Twisted Vines Event Center (New Event)
–June – Chamber provides local businesses with Fair Banners for their store front (Full Fan Banner $40)
–January – Banquet Cake Auction
The Chamber appreciates the opportunity to serve the community and hopes that you are able to see the positive changes in our community.
They have a couple of phrases that we have used over the years, “Bringing the community together like family” and “Love where you Live.” They truly do believe they are making a difference.
The Chamber’s main focus is business promotion as we are here to help your business grow and prosper. Community Development and Business Growth go hand and hand.
They will continue on their mission to make a difference in those two areas and be the best they can be.
