EACH YEAR THE FREESTONE COUNTY SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION District #424 hosts the Conservation Poster and Essay Contest.
This year our theme was “Healthy Soils are Full of Life.”
Winners of the 2018 contest from Wortham ISD include (left-right): Sarabeth Bain (1st Place – Poster), Emma McGee (2nd Place – Poster), Landon Owens (3rd Place – Poster), Kendon Busby (2nd Place – Essay), Ahahi Frisby (3rd Place – Essay), and Grace McCoslin (1st Place – Essay). Named Over All winners for the Essay Contest were Kendon Busby (3rd Place) and Grace McCoslin (2nd Place).
