Fairfield will send nine athletes to the Regional Power Lifting Meet. They include: JaShaun Hatcher, Drew Williams, Ladarius Price, Justin Sander, Jar-Mychael Hudson, Zane Anderson, A.J. Polk, Ty Farmer, and Gavin Neidich.
ALSO THIRD PLACE IN THE 242 WEIGHT CLASS, Fairfield Eagle, Drew Williams, lifted a total of 1,280 pounds (550 squat, 280 bench, 450 dead). He will join eight other power lifters, qualifying for Regionals. (Pictured above)
FIRST PLACE WAS A SURE THING for this Fairfield power lifter, as JaShaun Hatcher lifted a total of 1,500 pounds in the 198 weight class during the Men’s Qualifying Meet in Fairfield, this past weekend. Hatcher complete a Squat of 600, bench press of 300, and a dead lift of 600 during this competition.
ALSO TAKING THIRD PLACE, this time in the 275 weight class, is Fairfield’s Ladarius Price. He lifted a total of 1,385 pounds (570 squat, 315 bench, 500 dead).
