Fairfield High School’s Powerlifting team competed in the Malakoff Invitational Meet on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
The Eagles were well represented, with 12 female lifters and 11 males.
The girls’ team, again, placed 2nd overall, due to the ten individually-earned medals. The team, and their dedicated coaches, will travel to Rains next Saturday.
Individual medals:
–Leticia Chaves: senior, 3rd in the 123 class
–Madi Isaacs: sophomore, 1st in the 132 class
–Daeja Harris: sophomore, 2nd in the 132 class
–Sarah Richmond: senior, 4th in the 132 class
–Tylie Bruce: sophomore, 2nd in the 165 class
–Bailey Jones: sophomore, 3rd in the 165 class
–Jamie Wilkinson: senior, 2nd in the 181 class
–Charity Starr: sophomore, 2nd in the 198 class
–Christina Ferguson: senior, 5th in the 198 class
–Ivieya Daniels: senior, 3rd in the 220 class
–Jashaughn Hatcher: junior, 1st in the 198 class
–Drew Williams (left): sophomore, 5th in the 220 class
Also competing were Lyndi Wilson, Calla Childers, Nick Cochran, Lex Thompson, Zane Anderson, Will Parker, Juan Munoz, Justin Cooper, Zach Ledbetter, Mike Arrbaiza, and Chandler Noble.
