In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 21, 2018, Brookshire Brothers’ Tobacco Barn became the most recent target of the Cigar Bandits.
At approximately 3:00 a.m. that morning, two suspects, thought to be juveniles, broke the surveillance camera on the north side of the building. They then smashed the drive-through-window and reached through the bars to grab cigars, about $4.00 worth.
According to Fairfield Police Department, it is thought that these suspects are most likely connected to the Rob’s Drive In robbery a couple of weeks ago.:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc()/smoker-164928582-57bdb8a83df78c8763ff4756.jpg)

Video surveillance from the other cameras at the Tobacco Barn have been reviewed and police believe they have identified the suspects.

No arrests have been made as of press time.
