“CATCHING” THIS LARGE CATFISH on the courthouse square on Thursday, January 11, 2018 was Freestone County’s 911 Coordinator, Steve Black.
At approximately 2 p.m. that afternoon, as he was getting something from his vehicle on the west side of the square, this large fish dropped out of the sky, nearly hitting him in the head.
A large bird of prey flying overhead dropped the fish as it passed over; and never returned to retrieve it.
