A reunion of the decedents of Cyrus K. Ivy (1814-1890) and families of others buried in the Ivy Cemetery will be held on October 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Bring a covered dish and chairs for your family.
In case of inclement weather, the reunion will be held at the home of Ted and Barbara Ivy, on the corner of West Walnut and North Second streets in Huntington.
To reach the cemetery, take FM 2109 from Huntington to Palmer Ivy Road (approx 4 miles), turn right on Palmer Ivy Road and travel 1.7 miles to the cemetery entrance on the right.
In September 2007, the Ivy Cemetery was recognized as a State Historical Cemetery by the Texas Historical Commission. In October 2008, the historical narrative plaque was dedicated.
You are encouraged to make a special effort to attend this reunion.
