After this letter was written, a small one room structure was built. It served as the sanctuary and Sunday school class room until a small room was added to the building, in the 1970’s the current church was build next door to the old church.
Later a fellowship hall was added which has now been converted to children’s class rooms.
The last 15 years has seen a new fellowship hall built and a building annexed as a youth building, where our young people enjoy gathering and hearing the Word.
The heart of one of the ladies was led by the Lord to start a children and youth bible study on Wednesday nights.
We now have a large group of young people from the community attending a bible study and enjoying a hot meal on Wednesday nights.
The women of the church have enjoyed an outreach program to the ladies of this community.
Our New Hope, New Dreams, New You Luncheon and Silent Auction has hosted over 100 attendees each year for the past 10 years.
We enjoy wonderful entertainment and a delicious catered meal. The silent auction has allowed us to offer numerous scholarships to our youth in this community in the past 10 years.
