This year, Freestone County Times is accepting submissions for a special Veterans Day edition to be published in November.
Readers are encouraged to submit pictures, and a short write-up, to honor the veterans in their family.
Veterans Day is an official U.S. public holiday, observed on November 11th, that honors all military veterans, having served in the United States Armed Forces.
Submissions may be delivered to 401 E. Commerce in Fairfield, Texas. Or, send pictures and information via email to news@freestonecountytimes.com (write in “Veterans Day” into the subject line).
All submissions must be received by Wednesday, November 1st.
