County Fair is all about memories…and the pictures!
This year, those pictures can win a prize that will allow you to make even more memories with your friends and loved ones.
Beginning Monday, June 12th, the GO FAIRFIELD mobile app will host the “Fair & Rodeo Photo Contest.”
Submit your best photographs of this year’s Freestone County Fair & Rodeo to be judged.
There will be three categories:
–Music & Entertainment: including music, dance, pageant, parade floats, and more.
–Livestock Show: with breeding and market shows, livestock sale, horse halter show, and pet show.
–Fair & Rodeo: anything County Fair related, such as carnival rides & midway games, home & garden show, Go-Texan events, stick bull & barrel racing, and other rodeo events.
Download the GO FAIRFIELD mobile app (for free) on your iPhone or Android smart phone.
Then, click the “NEWS” button. The “Fair & Rodeo Photo Contest” form will appear at the top of the page.
Upload your best photograph (right from your phone), along with your name, contact info, and a short description.
Photographs must be taken during the 2017 Freestone County Fair & Rodeo week.
Submitting a photograph gives permission for publication in print and online.
One winner will be named in each category, along with TWO GRAND PRIZE WINNERS.
Prizes include 18-holes of Golf (with a golf cart for two); as well as tickets to the 18th annual Texas Night Series, Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Six Flags in Arlington, Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels; and Chamber Bucks to spend with select retailers in Fairfield, Texas.
Sponsors include Tri-County Golf Club at the Vineyards, KRVF 106.9 FM The Ranch, Freestone County Raceway, and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
Contest opens next week on Monday, June 12th.
All photo submissions must be received by midnight on Monday, June 19, 2017. Photos may only be submitted via the GO FAIRFIELD mobile app.
