Freestone County Texas A & M Muster was held in Fairfield on April 21st. It was a huge success with over 90 people attending to enjoy BBQ and a very meaningful program. True Brown, class of 2004, was the speaker, and is the Director of Communications for the 12th Man Foundation. He spoke about what A & M meant to him and the Aggies that made an impact on his life.
The idea of Muster was started in the 1920’s and, “If there is an A&M man in one hundred miles of you, you are expected to get together, eat a little, and live over the days you spent at the A&M College of Texas.”
