Scott Watson Marsters, Sr.
Publisher/President
Scott, Sr. was reared in the shadow of NASA Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo Astronauts, in a quaint neighborhood called Timber Cove, summarily referred to as the Astronauts’ Village. He made his stake as President of Computer Floor Corporation that contracted and constructed raised computer floors and cleanroom systems nationwide, for some twenty-five years.
Scott spends requiescence time with the stewardship of the WX Ranch Land & Cattle, that was founded in 1837 and established in 1918, that’s intricately tied to the history of Freestone County, Texas.
As Publisher of the Freestone County Times, Scott keeps the office motivated and provides touches to his number one selling, Texas Press Association multi-award winning newspaper.
Scott, Sr. is a lifetime member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Texas First Families, and The Sons of the Republic of Texas.
