The Republic Restored
The great mass of people and the fair-minded electoral system have spoken in an overwhelming vote against Big Government, political correctness, multiculturalism, and creeping socialism. We are at the beginning of a new era, that if promises are fulfilled, will restore America to its proper place in the world, improve the lives of millions of Americans, and make our country what it should be: a federal Republic of, for, and by the People.
Ordinary Americans can again be proud to be Americans, not “victims of the system” where flag-burners will not be welcome. No nation in world history has generous, magnanimous, or hospitable as ours. Following WW II, our allies [Russia] enslaved former enemies; the United States provided the Marshall Plan and rebuilt Germany and Japan. God has indeed shed His grace on our people, I believe deservedly so.
Recently the president-elect has been targeted for choosing so many retired generals for high government positions. The liberal media, which have never been muzzled as in socialist countries, have criticized this. They fail to mention that like the civilian executives chosen for similar positions, these men are highly educated, knowledgeable, capable, and patriotic. These are not bureaucrats / administrators; they are executive management. Management means Getting Things Done.
The new administration has a lot of hard work ahead: dismantling failed program and policies, ObamaCare, the Iranian Nuclear Treaty, letting ISIS take the lead in our war on terrorism instead of taking the war to the enemy, tax reform, immigration, etc. It will be an incredibly interesting 2017.
