The November 2016 One Stop Recycle Drop was a success thanks to all the wonderful recyclers in our community!
Collections included:
–150 pair of eye glasses to be donated to the Lions Club
–15,740 pounds of electronics to ECS Refining
–20 gallons of batteries
–50 light bulbs
–500 pounds of glass
–400 pounds of textiles for donation
–8 tons of paper, cardboard, plastic to Progressive Waste
–10 gallons of medication for proper disposal
Thank you to all our volunteers from the Fairfield History Club, the JH and HS Interact Club, the Rotary Club, the Fairfield HS Recycle Team, Sue Casey, Tommy Miller, Jason Scott, and Gary Wiggins.
The next recycle date is December 17th from 8:30-10:30am in the FHS bus loop. Paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass will be accepted.
