Sharon J. Mennerick, 63, of Fairfield, lost her battle to cancer on Friday, December 9, 2016 at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Capps Memorial Chapel. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Lake Chapel Cemetery with Dr. Ken Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery.
Sharon was born May 4, 1953 in San Antonio to parents Joe and Anita Lueck Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gary on May 28, 2016. She will be missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Nichols and wife Kim of Gatesville, TX; Penny York and husband Scott of Robinson, TX; three sisters, Neda Lee of Big Sandy, TX; Resa Whatley of Corsicana; Micki Orpineda of Big Sandy; grandsons, Cody Nichols, Joseph and Emily Hancock, Charles Wright; a granddaughter, Lauren Nichols; great-grandchildren Kyler, Kamden, Bristol and Kaisley; Beth Kasper and husband John; Sissi Watts and husband Joe; many cousins, numerous great-nieces and nephews.
