This presentation will start with discussions about using supplemental feed as a tool for managing white-tailed deer and address the pros and cons of supplemental feed use. It will then transition to part of a research project which focuses on specific issues with supplemental feed, such as loss to non-targets and social exclusion from the feeders. It will also address patterns of feed use by deer during different months of the year.
