Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 991 will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 13th 2016 at our meeting hall at 927 Gardner Drive in Palestine Texas.
Meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome. Chapter #991 services communities in a six county area with veteran’s assistance to families and organizations in need of these services.
The Vietnam Veterans of America are a community active organization that honors all veterans from all branches of service as our motto indicates “Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another”. Visit with us to see what we do in your community. We have snacks and coffee/tea at 6:30 PM and then proceed with the business meeting at 7:00 PM.
We are also proud to announce our scholarship raffle winners for this year. Winner of the 3” Crimson Trace Carry II Kimber pistol was Denise Robertson from Perth, Texas and the winner of the Henry Big Boy 45 Long Colt rifle was James Brenner from Dallas, Texas.
The winner of the Solo 9mm Kimber pistol wishes to be anonymous. Chapter 991 of the Vietnam Veterans of America wishes to thank everyone that have participated and bought raffle tickets, and donated toward our scholarship fund. It made it possible to again award twelve $1000.00 scholarships to students in a six county area this year.
