CORN STALKS HAVE BEGUN TO SPROUT in front of Accessories Etc. in downtown Fairfield. Corn kernels from the City of Fairfield’s fall decorations found their way into the cracks in the side of the road on Highway 84. Owner Mary Small says, “If you want to replant them, then come on over and get them!”
