Final countdown has begun for Fun!  Music!   Dancing!  Storytelling!  Art!  Drama!  Food!   Shopping!
It’s all happening  Saturday, October 1, at the 2016 Fall Arts Fest on the square in Fairfield.  And it’s  Free!

The line-up of festivities includes:

Several songs from TSAC’s RING OF FIRE:  The Music of Johnny Cash  will be presented at 2:30  — favorites such as “Daddy Sang Bass,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “A Boy Named Sue” and “Jackson” — by vocalists Scott & Rachel Bossier, Bob & Cynthia Gage, Mark Kramer, Jakari Levels, Matt Mooneyham,  Joyce Nichols, Nathan Rikard, Tex & Mary Schutz and Stan Waldrip.  Also, a few songs from TSAC’s upcoming January musical, Always, Patsy Cline, will preview during the 4:00 music segment.
“Hank the Cow Dog” books will be available for purchase 11:00-5:00, with autographing by Mr. Erickson 11:00-2:00.  An interview with the author can be heard this week on KNES Texas 99 radio.
Children’s art and fun activities will be happening throughout the day, with Make-and-Take craft presented by Le Theatre de Marionette around 1:30.
Other arts and entertainment throughout the day include face painters, balloon twisters, Freestone Critters by FISD students, scarecrow contest, pumpkin house and the opening exhibit of American Landscapes at the Williford Foundation.  Food trucks and shops around the square will be open during the entire event.
