Brenda’s Closet of Fairfield has moved two doors down into the space next to Dry Gulch Mercantile on the west side of the courthouse square. When she opened doors on Saturday, most of her merchandise was at the new location, although she started the day with the cash register still in the old building. “They wore me out,” she says, of the ladies who helped her with the move: Birdie Hamilton and Kristine Joplin.
