This young man, six-year-old Nate Hurst of Teague, assisted the VFW Post 6872 by handing out coloring pages to kids in honor of Patriot’s Day this past Sunday, along with Auxiliary member Kellie Hodnett.
Customers of Sam’s Original Restaurant were given American flags, Buddy Poppies and VFW rubber wristbands by members of the VFW Post 6872 Auxiliary, including Wilma “Peach” Workman, in honor of Patriot’s Day on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
