River of Life Family Worship Center and its Community Pantry is a non-profit organization in Freestone County that has a heart so serve families in this area.
They are excited to announce their second year of helping children and parents with school supplies.
At this time, they are gearing up for their “Fill the Bus” campaign; and are happy to say that Fairfield Elementary School has donated the use of a bus for this event.
The drive began on Monday, August 1st; but will have additional drop off dates on Tuesday, August 9th and Thursday, August 11th, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on both days.
All monetary or direct supply donations will be given 100-percent towards the 2016 school year.
Supplies needed are backpacks, paper, pencils, crayons, and more.
The goal is to help families kick off the school year with plenty of supplies and to continue to help families throughout the school year.
