The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), Chapter 1191, will hold its monthly meeting at the Sirloin Stockade in Corsicana on Tuesday, 12 Feb 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Sirloin Stockade is located at 2508 W.7th Ave. (TX Hwy 31) in Corsicana, Texas.

The guest speaker for the meeting will be Gary Price, who with his wife, Sue, own and operate the 77 Ranch near Blooming Grove in Western Navarro County. They have been active in many enterprises which promote the stewardship of natural resources and have won many local, state, and national awards for their work including the Grazing Management Award from the Society for Range Management, Lone Star Land Steward Award from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Comm., the Leopold Award from the Sand County Foundation, Environmental Stewardship Award from the National Cattlemen Beef Assn. and the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raiser’s Assn. In addition to raising beef cattle, the work at 77 Ranch includes wildlife management, wetland and water development, restoring quail and wild turkey populations, and harvesting nuts from native pecan trees.

NARFE Chapter 1191 has members from Ellis, Navarro and surrounding counties. Members, guests, and all who are part of our federal active and retired family are invited.
