Wortham vs. Frost
Wortham traveled to Frost on Tuesday evening and played without two of their starters. Wortham has a few players that are out sick so the Lady Bulldogs faced the Frost Polar Bears with a limited team playing in different positions. The Lady Bulldogs played very hard and battled throughout the whole match.
Frost beat Wortham in five sets: Wortham 25-21; Wortham 25-21; Frost 16-25; and Frost 27-29.
Frost 12-15
Riley Winstead had 20 kills, 6 blocks, and three digs.
Dakota Butler had 12 kills and 13 digs.
Madison Newhouse had 4 kills and 10 digs.
Bre Kennedy had 3 kills, 2 digs, and one block.
Ava Carr had 3 blocks and 3 digs.
Setter Allie McCoslin had 33 assists, 13 digs, and 1 kill.
Libero Grace McCoslin had 33 digs and 4 kills.
Defense specialist Braidee Taylor had 17 digs and 1 ace. Ameeya Rhodes had 5 digs.
Wortham traveled to Teague this Friday to take on the Lady Lions.
Wortham vs. Teague
Wortham lost to Teague in three sets: 17-25; 21-25; and 13-25.
Wortham faced Teague without Junior middle hitter Dakota Butler due to a sprained ankle. Butler will return in a couple of weeks.
Riley Winstead had 8 kills, 3 blocks, and 2 digs.
Madison Newhouse had 4 kills, 15 digs, and two aces.
Ava Carr had 4 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 digs.
Bre Kennedy had 2 kills and 1 dig.
RaShay Covey had 1 kill, 1 block and 3 digs.
Setter Allie McCoslin had 11 assists, 8 digs, and 4 kills.
Ana Colquette had 8 assists and one dig.

Wortham will play Crossroads in Wortham on Tuesday.
