David Thomas James, 42, passed away on April 22, 2022 in Fairfield, Texas.
He was born January 20, 1980, to Thomas and Susan James of Fairfield.
David was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church Fairfield.
David was an entrepreneur and owned many businesses in Fairfield over many years. He currently was co- owner/operator of J&S Meat and J&S AG with Tim Sherber.
In his spare time, David had a passion for flying airplanes and competing with his Radio controlled airplanes, where he made many lifelong friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Holton James.
He leaves behind his Mother, Susan James of Fairfield; brother, COL. Michael James and wife Jennifer, of Salado, TX; nieces, Elizabeth and Lillian James and nephew, Holton James, all of Salado, Tx; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022 at First United Methodist Church Fairfield, with Dr. Richard Heyduck officiating. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to First UMC Fairfield, or the Trinity Arts Council.
