Club meetings begin this month for 4-H in Freestone County.
Wortham 4-H will meet this Wednesday, September 4th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Wortham Chamber Building (next to the Post Office). They meet the first Wednesday of each month through April.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, Teague 4-H, Fairfield 4-H and Freestone Community 4-H will each meet on Sunday, September 8th at their respective times/locations.
Teague 4-H meets the second Sunday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Teague Economic Development Corp. building at 411 Main Street.
Fairfield 4-H meets the first Sunday of each month beginning at 4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church at 201 North Mount Street.
Freestone Community 4-H meets the first Sunday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Freestone Community Center at 739 FM 80 South.
There will be no meetings in December as all clubs will attend the county-wide Christmas party on December 6th.
Then, on May 4th will be the 4-H Graduating Senior Celebration at First UMC in Fairfield beginning at 4:00 p.m.
