The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Family and Community Health unit’s Texas Military Program will host a webinar entitled, “Ensuring Texas Military Veteran Families Have Better Access to Social Services.”
The webinar will be from 10-11 a.m. July 30, and is open to all Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service county agents and community organizations.
The webinar will focus on how to better access Texas veteran resources through a database developed by Combined Arms.
“Combined Arms is combating the fragmented and highly populated Veteran Service Organization landscape to overcome the challenges transitioning veterans are facing,” said Rachel Brauner, AgriLife Extension program specialist in College Station.
“They assess and customize resources based on individual veteran needs, simplifying how veterans connect to the resources they need,” Brauner said. “Combined Arms brings a data-driven approach together with a collaborative, connected model of service delivery so that veterans and the community are united after the uniform.”
