The Wortham High School Bulldog band honored the section of the week and band member of the week on September 8th.
On September 15, during the Bulldogs Friday night varsity football game against the Rosebud-Lott Cougars, the brass section (above) was recognized as the section of the week during the band’s halftime show.
Garrett Covey, who plays the baritone, was also chosen as band member of the week.
The Bulldog band has been working on their UIL marching contest show entitled “Mission Beyond” during their band practices.
The band is under the direction of Mr. William Hayworth.
The band would like to thank the community for all their support and all are invited to come out and see their new halftime show.
