8:45 PM Officer Tieman responded to a Forgery (Counterfeit Money) call at Family Dollar.

1:17 AM Officer Tieman Checked out on a suspicious vehicle at the old Dairy Queen Parking Lot.

8:47 AM Interim Chief Philpott and Officer Keale was dispatched to an Intoxicated person at Brookshire Brothers.

1:36 PM Officer Keale responded to a Shoplifter at CEFCO.

2:53 PM Interim Chief Philpott and Officer Keale served two arrest warrants (Sexual Assault, from Anderson County) in the 800 block N. 7^th Ave.

5:41 PM Officer Tieman was dispatched to a 911 hang up in the 800 block Pecan St.

9:21 PM Officer Tieman handled a Civil Matter by phone.

9:22 PM Officer  Tieman was dispatched to a Loud Music Complaint on Howard St.

10:58 PM Officer Tieman was dispatched to a Sexual Assault of a Child call.

12:43 AM Officer Tieman was dispatched to a Theft at CEFCO.

6:39 PM Sgt. Mason and Officer Cox were dispatched to a Suicidal Person.

7:13 PM Officer Morgan was dispatched to a Harassment Call in the 800 block McGee.

8:39 AM Offier Keale responded to a Medical Call in the 200 block S. 8^th Ave.

11:47 AM Officer Keale was dispatched to a loose horse call at Filmore and MLK.

1:49 PM Officer Keale responded to a shoplifter at Brookshire Brothers. After a brief foot pursuit the person was captured and jailed. He has outstanding warrants from Navarro County and the state of Arkansas.

10:15 PM Officer Tieman was dispatched to Old Airport Road for a Loud Music Complaint.

1:18 AM Officer Tieman checked out on a City Ordinance Violation (Burning in City Limits without permit) on Chestnut St.

12:06 PM Officer Keale conducted a follow up on a theft case.

1:10 PM Officer Keale was dispatched to a Harassment complaint in the 200 block S. 10^th Ave.

7:01 PM Officer Tieman was contacted about a Civil Matter, which was referred to Freestone County.

9:23 PM Officer Tieman was dispatched to a Loud Music complaint in the 900 block S. 8^th Ave.

9:28 PM Officer Tieman responded to a Medical Call in the 500 block Tyler St.

12:45 AM Officer Tieman checked out on a Violation of City Ordinance violation (Park Curfew) at Teague City Park.

3:23 AM Officer Tieman responded to an Assault Call.

6:53 PM Officer Keale meet a complainant at the Police Department for a sexual abuse call.

During this period Teague Police Officers issued 15 traffic violation warnings and 3 traffic citations. We made 5 arrests (Evading Arrest/Detention, Fail to Identify as Fugitive, Public Intoxication, Stealing/Receiving Stolen Goods, and Tampering with Identification Numbers).

Citizens are reminded to call 911 if they have an emergency of any kind. The Police Department Non-Emergency number is 254-739-2553. Please understand the officers are not in the police department to answer phone calls on a regular basis, because they are patrolling the streets. Please call the Freestone County Sheriff’s Office at 903-389-3236, if you are unable to reach someone at the Police Department’s phone number. They will dispatch an officer, which will allow for an officer to get there quicker.
