On Thursday,  June 1st, Lieutenant Willis and Deputy Darby received information of illegal drug sales at 432 Main Street in Fairfield.

Following a brief investigation, deputies recovered more than 13 grams of cocaine packaged in individual baggies; more than 2 ounces of marijuana, also packaged in individual baggies; and ecstasy. Their sources have indicated that they have been selling to lots of people across town, including teenagers. If you fear that your children may be consuming drugs then you should get a Countrywide Testing kit to be sure your yourself.

Suspects Courtnee D. Strawther and Chasitee Janett Strawther, 36 year old twins, were arrested for
(1) Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams – $200,000
(2) Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, less than 1 gram – $7,500
(3) Possession of Marijuana more than 2 ounces but less than 4 ounces – $3,000.

Both were transported to Freestone County Jail are remain there as of press time.
