Members of the 2018 Lady Eagles Softball Team competed in a Pre-Season Tournament this past weekend. They successfully earned the title of Champions, in the Small School Division, of the 19th Annual Round Rock Invitational.
Other high schools that competed include: Burnet, Dripping Springs, Frenship, Gateway, Grandview, Lake Travis, Lubbock Coronado, and Round Rock.
Fairfield played 5 games on Saturday, including 2 pool games, and then 2 games on Sunday. The team won all bracket games, affording them to opportunity to continue playing into the championship.
This pre-season team is coached by Craig Dunlap and Brent Judd, both with daughters currently playing.
Lady Eagle team members include Freshmen: Harli Hunt, Carsyn Cox, and Camii Wilson: Sophomores: Bailey Jones, Margo Measles, and Rebecca Dunlap; Junior Katie Judd; and Seniors Katie Hendrichs, Lauran Adcock, Banner Monico, Kealie House, and Abby Garcia.
