Miss Freestone County Scholarship Pageant Organization officials announced today the annual Miss Freestone County competition will be held on June 13th at 7:00 PM. The Miss Freestone County Organization is proud to welcome contestants ages 13-18 living in Freestone County to the competition, which will take place at the Fairfield High School Auditorium.
Freestone County Scholarship Pageant is now under the leadership of Missy Newhouse and Anne Hunt. “We are very pleased with the local support and the number of intelligent, ambitious, and talented young women who are interested in competing in the 2017 pageant, Newhouse said.”
Contestants will compete in 4 phases of competition at the Miss Freestone County Scholarship Pageant, including interview, on stage question, formal wear, and outfit of choice. During the competition, each contestant will also discuss her chosen platform, a social or community issue of concern to herself and our society at large. Contestant entry fee is a $100.
Miss Freestone County Scholarships may be provided by local business, a family, or in honor/memory of a loved one. Scholarships will be awarded for Top Interview, Runner Up, and Miss Freestone County Winner- in Miss & Teen division.
Young Ladies ages 2-4, will be competing in formal wear & outfit of choice. The 5-12 Year Old Division will compete in 4 phases: formal wear, mini interview, personal introduction on stage, and outfit of choice. Entry fee is set at $65 per contestant for ages 2-12. “This is a great pageant for beginner” Newhouse shared. She will be hosting a Princess Boot Camp Pageant Training on April 29th @ 4 PM in Mexia for ages 5-12.

–Kickoff Party- April 30th @ 3 PM, The Edge Studio
–Final Meeting- May 28th @ 3 PM, The Edge Studio
–2-12 Year Old Pageant – June 10th
–Miss & Teen Pageant- June 13th
