Freestone Medical Clinic and the Fairfield Hospital District are, as always, doing everything they can to protect the health of this community with ketamine infusion equipment.

As such, a few changes have been made due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, although there are NO cases in Freestone County as of press time.

The Board of Directors of Freestone Medical Clinci have relocated the March 26, 2020 Board Meeting to the Fairfield Independent School District Board Room, located at 615 Post Oak Road, Fairfield, Texas.

This is to keep in compliance with Executive Order No. GA-08 from Governor Abbott.

Another change is seeing all ACUTE RESPITORY type illnesses at the Gold Eye Clinic located next door at 764 W Commerce St.

Hours will be Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Call 903-389-2181 to make an appointment, and again, if you believe you have been exposed or are displaying COVID-19 symptoms let them know before showing up to limit exposure.

This is the same building that houses the practice of Dr. Brent Moore, Dentist.

Dental Patients with sleep apnea will be using the side entrance at this time; once in the park lot call 903-389-4151 to check in.

Dr. Moore stated, “We are only seeing emergency patients as recommended by the CDC.”

Freestone Medical Center has organized a webpage to help parents learn ways to discuss COVID-19 with their children.

Go online to freestonemc.com/talkingwithchildrencorona/ to learn their suggested ways of helping your children cope.

The website breaks down ways of discussing with four different age groups, and stresses the importance of routine.
