The Angelic Hosts came for Mrs. Frazier on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in the Groesbeck LTC among loving family and devoted friends.

Viewing and visitation were held Friday, June 30 at Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home with the family present.

Funeral Services were Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church of Groesbeck, TX with the Pastor, Rev. Nathaniel Bedford officiating and Rev. L. B. Perry, presiding.

Interment followed in the Lone Star Cemetery of Groesbeck.

Mrs. Mamie Williams Frazier was born on December 21, 1943 in Groesbeck, Texas to Freddie Medlock and Minnie Lee Williams.

She grew up in Groesbeck, Texas and attended public school there.

On September 3, 1971, Mamie and Maurice Frazier were married in Dallas, Texas where they would raise their 5 children.

They were active and faithful members of Greater Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas under the pastorate of the late Rev. L. C. Jones, Sr.

The family moved back to Groesbeck, Texas where Mamie worked as a Health Care Aide for The Gurling Home Health Agency and the Groesbeck Medical Center.

Mrs. Frazier was also employed at the Mexia State Supported Living Center, Mexia, Texas where she retired after many years of loyal service.

Rev. and Mrs. Frazier moved from Groesbeck to Mexia where Mamie served as a Volunteer for CARATAS. She had a passion for taking care of others, and always had a positive outlook in any situation.

She was a faithful member of Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church, Groesbeck, Texas where she served the children’s Sunday School Teacher and member of the Lone Star Mission Society.

She helped wherever needed in the church and thoroughly enjoyed working in the Food Service area of the church.  She truly loved the Lord.  Mamie did not hesitate to tell others of God’s goodness and mercy.

Mamie’s parents, one son, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Frazier is survived by: Her husband of 46 years: Rev. Maurice Frazier, Mexia, TX; three sons:  James “Rickie” White and wife, Lori of Portland, Oregon; Leonard White and Jackie of Duncanville, TX; Maurice Daon Frazier and wife, Linsie , Killeen, TX; one daughter: Vickie Bell and husband, Kevin, Waco, TX;

9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Henry Lee Lockhart and wife Evelyn, Petersburg, Virginia and Wilmer Gibson, Jr., Groesbeck, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
