LION OF THE YEAR WAS AWARDED to Megan Hempel during the Fairfield Lions Club meeting on Thursday, August 11, 2017.
During the presentation, Club President Olaf von Sehrwald spoke of her promotion of the organization through pictures and articles in the newspaper, and creating a new Facebook page for the Fairfield Lions.
Megan currently serves as Secretary.
Her son, Riley, is obviously proud of his mom’s achievements.
