The lady lions would play their final district game of the season on Tuesday night, February 6, 2018, defeating Malakoff 46 – 38.
The lady lions finished district with a 12 – 0 district record and 28 -2 overall.
The lady lions also captured their 4th straight district and have high expectations for the playoffs.
“We’ve faced some adversity throughout this season the kids continued to push and different ones would step up. We’re excited about the season thus far but we’re not satisfied,” says Coach Nickleberry.
The lady lions will face Blooming Grove in the bi-district round of the playoffs Monday night at 6:30 p.m.at M.C.C in Waco, Texas.
