The Fairfield Lady Eagles grabbed an early lead on its way to a 15-2 victory over Madisonville on Friday. Fairfield scored on a single by Banner Monico a single by Lauran Adcock, and a double by Meaghan Peterson in the first inning. Madisonville took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Jai Serguiff drove in one run when she singled.

Fairfield took the lead for good with three runs in the first inning. In the first Banner Monico singled off of Brooke Gatlin, driving in one run, Lauran Adcock singled off of Gatlin, driving in one run, and Meaghan Peterson doubled off of Gatlin, driving in one run.

Fairfield Lady Eagles 2017 scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Fairfield Lady Eagles 2017 scored on a triple by Peterson, a walk by Rebecca Dunlap, a walk by Margo Measles, and a error.

Abby Garcia earned the win for the Fairfield. She pitched four innings, giving up one run, five hits, striking out one, and walking none.

Fairfield  had nine hits in the game. Peterson and Monico each collected multiple hits for Fairfield. Measles led the Lady Eagle offense with four runs batted in. She went 1-for-3 on the day.
