Wortham’s JV team continued their winning streak by beating Axtell in two games.
The team is undefeated in district with 6-0 record.

Wortham beat Axtell in three games: W 25 – 10, W 25 – 15, and W 25 – 8.

Kate Vogel continued to lead the team with 9 kills, 5 aces, 14 digs and one block.
Sophomore Ashley Mao stepped up with 6 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs, 2 assist, and 8 blocks.
Kayla Lansford led with 5 kills, 7 digs, 4 aces and 4 blocks.
Setter Jayde Hamilton had 1 kill, 16 assists, 5 digs, and 3 blocks.
Bri Samuels had 3 kills, 4 digs, 1 ace and 3 blocks.
Sterling Gentry had 11 digs and 1 assist.
Libero Hallie Fautt lead the team in serve receives and 15 digs.
