Jury went into deliberations before noon on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the Amber Hope Halford trial.  A “guilty” verdict was returned at approximately 3:45 p.m.

Halford, along with two other defendants, were charged with Capital Murder in the shooting death of her uncle, Douglas Carr Hurst of Teague, Texas which occured durng a home invasion in March of 2015.

Earlier this month, a guilty verdict was returned in the Capital Murder trial of Lawson Lee Abram.  He received Life Without Parole.

The Capital Murder trial for O’Jarion McClenon is expected to begin next week on Monday, October 31, 2016.
