Joyce Pillans, of the Winkler Community, passed away on Thursday evening September 28, 2017 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas at the age of 85.
She was a life-long member of New Hope Baptist Church in St. Elmo.
Mrs. Pillans is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Pillans, son Roger Pillans and parents.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter Judy Hagler and husband Corky; grandchildren, Lanna McCabe and husband Ryan, Clay Hagler and wife Jennifer, Dana Pillans, Jerrod Pillans and wife Tara; great grandchildren, Kayla and Kirby McCabe, Madison Hagler and Andrew Grant, Rance, River, Creek and Raina Pillans; sister, Barbara Loftis; brother, Johnny Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Saturday evening, September 30th at Griffin – Roughton Funeral Home.
The celebration of her life was Sunday, October 1st at New Hope Baptist Church.
Burial followed at St. Elmo Cemetery.
