Johnnie Bell Bingham Hoce, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Fairfield.

She was born February 15, 1930 in Louisiana to John Burt and Lillie Mae Lee.

Johnnie took great pride in her family. She loved having a crowd of her children and grandchildren in her home.

She loved cooking for them and was an amazing cook. She also loved getting all of her girls in the kitchen with her and trying to get them to keep up with her.

She enjoyed having babies around to love and play with.

Johnnie was a very hard worker and often had two or three jobs at a time in order to provide for her children. In later years, she worked as a care giver until well in her 70’s.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Chester Coleman, Opal Serratt, R. C. Coleman, Dorthy Weeks, James Henry Lee; children, Elsie Jean Dunn, Douglas Coleman, Mary Ruth Hamilton-Bingham; grandchildren, Cherie Lea Dunn, Eric Stephen Hamilton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, John Rex Martin, Rene’ Dee Erwin, Melinda Kay Sandefer, Emmett Benjamin Bingham, Annette Marie Bingham. Grandchildren, Michael Douglas Dunn, Bennie Jo Irwin, Deedra Kay Clinton, Clinton Dale McWhirter, John Wendel McWhirter, Jeanna Rene Cloud, Suzanne Janette Carroll, William Daniel Sandefer, Brandon Keith Sandefer, Frances Ann Bingham, Michael Brandon Alexander Humphrey, Paige Leeann Bingham Wharton, Forest Ian Bingham Wharton, Danae’ Nicole Harper, Christopher Aaron Hamilton, Alicia Marie Hamilton; 24 Great Grandchildren and 18 great great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral service immediately followed visitation.

Internment was Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Morse Cemetery in Buna Texas.
