An incident on FM 416 near Richland Chambers Reservoir has claimed the life of a female, reported to have been visiting family in the area, on the weekend of September 10-11, 2016.
Navarro County JP-2, Darrell Waller, states he cannot give out much information at this point as it is an ongoing investigation.
He did, however, confirm the fact that a female was killed in the incident after being ejected from a moving vehicle. It is unknown at this time as to the cause of the ejection.
An autopsy and toxicology report was ordered. Preliminary results are in from the autopsy, but authorities are awaiting results of the toxicology report before making any final rulings as to cause of death.
