Big Rig travelling south on the interstate has a flat tire, driver pulls to the shoulder and calls tire service. Southbound 18 wheeler sideswipes first truck, moving truck carrying pallets of general purpose automotive grease, with about 90% of it now spread over both lanes of traffic for at least a quarter of a mile. Needless to say this is a big mess and halts traffic. Dew Fire, Deputies and Troopers respond. Local wrecker service begins the cleanup, specialist in HazMat removal brought in, TxDot contractors begin traffic diversion. Pardon the pun, but all works like a well-greased wheel. No injuries despite the enormous mess.
