Big T Bash is just around the Corner. This year’s cook-off event will be Friday and Saturday, April 7-8, 2017 at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.

The cook-off includes the following categories: brisket, pork ribs, and chicken. Entry is $200 per team and includes any, or all, categories. Cook teams will begin cooking Friday evening and judging will be held Saturday around noon. Trophies will be given for First through Third in each category and for best over-all.

This year will also feature a Cook’s Choice Calcutta event on Friday evening. Entry is $25 per team and the winning team will receive 80% of the pot. Judging for the winner will include three votes; two guest judges and a fan favorite. The public can purchase 5 tickets for $5 to be able to taste and place their votes.

Free entertainment will be offered Friday night and includes Fairfield’s own Mitch Ballard, returning this year with Nashville Singer/Songwriters D. Vincent Williams (song credit – I’m Moving On by Rascal Flats) and Chris Wallin (song credit – Don’t Blink by Kenny Chesney).
