Fort Boggy State Park dedicates its 4th Annual “Dog Days of Summer” to “First Responders, Our Hero’s Appreciation Day,” honoring ALL first responders in Leon, Madison, and surrounding counties on August 27, 2016.
First responders are a diverse group of professionals and volunteers with backgrounds in fire, police, medical, towing, transportation, environmental, state law enforcement, and others; who bravely and selflessly risk their lives every day to protect all of us.
Park entrance will be FREE for this event!
Beginning at 11:15 a.m., everyone is welcome to FREE hot dogs and show cones.
The Friends of Fort Boggy State Park encourage EVERYONE to bring the family and show your appreciation for our first responders.
Fort Boggy State Park is located at 4994 Highway 75 South in Centerville.
