Come see Always…Patsy Cline at the historic Texas Theatre in downtown Palestine. The show will run two days (Thursday, April 20, and Friday, April 21) with curtain at 7:30 p.m. each night and a complimentary reception at 6:30 p.m. before the Friday performance. Tickets ($15 adults & $10 students ages 4-18) are available now at the Chamber of Commerce, Visitor Center, Blake Furniture, and Discount Pools, as well as online at www.thetexastheater.com.

Always…Patsy Cline is based on the true story of legendary Patsy Cline’s relationship with housewife Louise Seger. Having met in Houston, Texas at the Esquire Ballroom, the two began corresponding, and their relationship turned from one of fan worship to one of mutual respect as they shared details of everyday life, and Patsy closed each letter with “(Love) Always . . . Patsy Cline.” Members of Palestine Community Theatre’s (PCT) Board of Directors saw Trinity Star Arts Council’s (TSAC) production of this show in Teague and liked it so much they asked if the cast and crew would be willing to travel to the Texas Theatre for encore performances.

Though many of the actors and actresses portraying each role are from the Teague and Fairfield areas, Palestine residents will recognize some as well. Louise Seger is portrayed by Rachel Bossier who most recently played Morticia in PCT’s summer production of The Addams Family Musical, and Patsy is often joined in harmony by “The Jordanaires,” who you will remember as three-fourths of the quartet from PCT’s production of Forever Plaid: Scott Bossier, John Lamb, and Larry Weber.

This is a touching and heartwarming story portrayed with comedy and lots of Patsy Cline songs you won’t want to miss.
