Early bird guests to the Freestone County Fair and Rodeo’s Home & Garden building on Monday morning were treated to Traveling Dragons with Rylie Mushinski, a special program where guests could see, touch, feed, and learn about different types of reptiles.

This 16-year-old from Teague is a reptile hobbyist who has taken in rescues and has started getting into breeding. Learn more on her Facebook page, TravelingDragons.

Be sure to stop by the Home & Garden building during Fair Week to see the exhibits and daily events.

Tuesday featured Mr. Paul Becker, Marine Biologist, who explained what it is like working in his field.

It’s not too late to catch Thursday’s and Friday’s special events.

Come play BINGO with Kinsley Nevill from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday. There will be prizes and lots of good times.

On Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., you can come see some of the animals on show at this year’s fair and learn why Agriculture is important with members of Freestone County and area 4-H members.
