Teague and Wortham track teams competed in district and several advanced to the area meets.  Teague will host the area meet and Wortham teams will travel to Riesel for their next competition

Jaylon Davis and Tayvis Coleman took the top two spots in the triple jump and were separated by a half inch.  Davis also finished second in the 400-meter dash.

Marcus Williams won the shot put and finished second in the discus.  Daniels finished second in 100 meter hurdles.  McQuirter took a third-place finish in the 300 hurdles.

The Teague 4×200 relay of Patrick, Coleman, Jewell and Heard won the district title with a photo finish over Elkhart.  The mile relay team finished second and the sprint relay finished third.

Daniels took a fourth-place finish in the high jump. Angel finished fourth in the 3200-meter run and third in the mile. McNett finished fourth in the 800-meter run.

Aguilera dominated the 3200-meter run with a 35 second win over Salley of Leon.  She had an equally easy time in the mile with a big first place finish and Arrezola finished fourth.

The Teague sprint relay finished third and fourth in the 4×200.  The mile relay also qualified for area with a fourth-place finish.

Guerrero finished third in the triple jump and third in the shot put.  Arrezola finished third in the 800-meter run.  Person finished third in the 100-meter dash.  Young took fourth in the 300 hurdles.

Zaria Oates led the way in scoring for the Wortham girls with a second-place finish in the 100 meters and running the anchor leg of the spring relay for a second-place finish.  She also finished second in the triple jump.

Freshman Nikki Boney ran a fast 3200 meter run and finished first over Gracie Rainey of Axtell.  She also finished third in the mile.

Ashley Mao finished third in the 100 hurdles and Hallie Fautt finished fourth in the 400-meter dash.  Katilyn Cartwright finished fourth in the discus.

Kemontrell Jackson qualified for the area meet with a couple of top four finishes.  He finished third in the 200 meter behind a track record set by Bremond sprinter Joe Williams.  Jackson also finished second in the high jump.

Wortham qualified for the area meet in the sprint relay.  The team of Von’Tray Cooper, Dalton Sandlin, Ryan Mao and Jackson finished fourth and were separated from third by .01 seconds (Hubbard).

Ryan McDaniel finished fourth in the 100 meter hurdles and fourth in the discus.  Cooper finished fourth in the 100-meter dash.
