Eagles Take Win in Overtime vs. Salado

The Fairfield Eagles scored 21 straight points and forced two late turnovers in the fourth quarter and overtime and turned away the Salado Eagles 42-35 in Salado. The Eagles won the district opener and have passed their season win total from a year ago and now have a good chance to move into driver’s seat with four games remaining. Fairfield High School Varsity Cross Country teams are headed to the Regional meet after taking top spots at the District Meet held October 11-12, 2017 at Fairfield High School. Lions Dominate Elks 44-7

The Teague Lions built a big halftime lead and dominated the Elkhart Elks at James Ives Memorial Stadium in Elkhart. Teague rolled up big yardage and held the Elkhart offense in check the entire night.  The offense used the big play and superior speed to run past the Elks on their way to a district victory. Lions Cross Country Wins District Championship

The Cross Country teams traveled to Elkhart last Wednesday to compete in the district meet. Both teams competed; and walked away with the district championship.
