Cucklebur Trading Celebrates Twenty Years in Fairfield

February 17, 2017 marked the 20-years business anniversary for Cucklebur Trading of Fairfield. Owner Pogie Lane celebrated by hosting a huge half-price sale on the anniversary weekend; and even gave away a $50 gift certificate to the store for one lucky winner. Pogie says, “It’s odd. The 2017 Freestone County Fair & Rodeo will be here before you know it, and with it comes the Home and Garden Show. Scheduled for the week of June 12-17, contenders have just over two months to prepare for the annual event. Free Live Music Features Mitch Ballard at Big T Bash 2017

Big T Bash is just around the Corner. This year’s cook-off event will be Friday and Saturday, April 7-8, 2017 at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield. The cook-off includes the following categories: brisket, pork ribs, and chicken. Entry is $200 per team and includes any, or all, categories.
